BOSS WHISPERER

Reverse-engineer
your manager.

CIA-grade profiling for corporate bullshit.

Paste the lot — a whole email thread, months of Slack, the founder monologue, or just describe the problem and give an example. The more it sees, the sharper the read: what they mean, what they want, what they’re avoiding, what not to say, and the reply most likely to work.

Why this exists

Most workplace advice is HR cosplay. Boss Whisperer is for the actual game: unclear power, status anxiety, hidden incentives, fragile egos, vague asks, fake urgency, and managers who say “let’s circle back” when they mean “I don’t want to decide.”

Paste the message. Get the read. Write the reply.

How it works

Manager scolding a deflated employee across a desk

FIG. 4 — “Walk me through your thinking here.” Subject already decided. Asking anyway.

  1. Paste the evidence. A whole email thread, months of Slack, the founder monologue, or describe the problem and give an example. The more you give it, the sharper the read.
  2. Get the Lite read. Runs in your browser on Claude Sonnet: what they mean, what they want, what to say, and the reply most likely to work. A taste of what the full skill does.
  3. Commission the dossier. $10. Deep research on the target, run on frontier models. The full profile, ego map and manage-up playbook, emailed the next day.

What the read gives you

  1. The translation. What they’re really saying.
  2. The power dynamic. Who has leverage, who wants what, where the tension sits.
  3. The emotional logic. What they’re protecting, avoiding, or trying to control.
  4. The trap. What not to say.
  5. The angle. How to frame the ask so it lands.
  6. The reply. A message you can actually send.
  7. The next move. What to do if they dodge, delay, or escalate.

Under the hood

No black box. Boss Whisperer is an open Claude skill. It runs three real, named frameworks on what you paste, then synthesises them into one read.

Munger inversionCharlie Munger's Psychology of Human Misjudgment: incentives, bias, avoidance, ego protection. Finds the reasoning flaw driving them, then turns it into a handle.
Therapeutic readCBT, IFS, Transactional Analysis, attachment patterns, Big Five, DISC. What makes them tick, what triggers them, what motivates them.
Gottman communication readDefensiveness, contempt, stonewalling, repair attempts, bids for connection. How they behave under pressure, with a transcript.

FAQ

Boss shouting at a hunched employee across a desk

FIG. 5 — Subject escalates. Protocol: do not match volume. Profile first.

Is the free read the whole thing? No. The free read is the Lite profile: Claude Sonnet, in your browser. It’s a taste, enough to show what the full skill does. The $10 dossier runs deep research on frontier models and goes much deeper.
How much can I paste? As much as you want. There’s no “one message” limit. Paste a whole email thread, months of Slack, the founder’s rambling voice-note transcript, or just describe the problem and give an example. It’s one shot, so dump in everything that shows what you’re dealing with. The more it sees, the sharper the read.
Can I run the full thing myself?Yes. The skill is open on GitHub. Install it and run the full dossier yourself in the cloud, free, on your own keys. You’ll need a Perplexity key for the research and a bit of setup. Or skip all that: pay $10 and we run it for you and email it within 24 hours.
Is it actually private?Yes. The Lite read runs in your browser on your own API key. Nothing is sent to us, nothing is stored, no account. It forgets your message the moment it’s done.
Do I need an API key?For the Lite read, yes: your own Anthropic key (starts with sk-ant-). Grab one at console.anthropic.com. It’s saved in your browser only; “forget key” clears it. The $10 dossier needs no key. We run it for you.
What does it actually read? The subtext. It profiles your boss through Charlie Munger’s misjudgment tendencies and the Gottman method: the ego, the avoidance, the hidden ask. Then it tells you the move.
Is this manipulation? No. It’s a working model for communicating, not a diagnosis. The point is to understand your boss and manage up, not to game anyone.
Will my boss find out? It’s a private read for you. The Lite read stores nothing and contacts no one. What you do with it is your business.
